Bringing in Fall, With Some Fine Apple Beer...

It was a beautiful Sunday afternoon and Kyle and I decided to take a trip to Apple Hill. Apple Hill is tucked into the foothills, among the many Northern California Vineyards. It consists of about 30 differnt apple farms.

The road trip was well worth it because it showed off all the beautiful colors of Fall. As we approached Apple Hill the sky grew dark with rain clouds, and the temp shot down about 10 degrees. But we weren't going to let that put a damper on our afternoon.

The Apple farm was packed with people but somehow we got to the small bar for some Hard cidar, and Apple beer. It was delicious, but it was a bit chilly drinking the cold beverage as the outdoors got cooler and cooler as the sun went down. Kyle and I met some really cool people there, and we probably sat and talked to them, and thier family for about 5 hours. It was a good time.

Not fancy but it was beautiful

You'd better get used to the cool if you are coming to Iowa for the holidays. Even before the sun goes down. :)

Great pictures! It will be great to see you two (three including Arnie) at Christmas. Sounds like you are having the time of your life out there in California. I envy you now with our weather soooo cold. Bring your long underwear - does Arnie have some?
