Bringing in Fall, With Some Fine Apple Beer...

It was a beautiful Sunday afternoon and Kyle and I decided to take a trip to Apple Hill. Apple Hill is tucked into the foothills, among the many Northern California Vineyards. It consists of about 30 differnt apple farms.

The road trip was well worth it because it showed off all the beautiful colors of Fall. As we approached Apple Hill the sky grew dark with rain clouds, and the temp shot down about 10 degrees. But we weren't going to let that put a damper on our afternoon.

The Apple farm was packed with people but somehow we got to the small bar for some Hard cidar, and Apple beer. It was delicious, but it was a bit chilly drinking the cold beverage as the outdoors got cooler and cooler as the sun went down. Kyle and I met some really cool people there, and we probably sat and talked to them, and thier family for about 5 hours. It was a good time.

Arnie is Home!

We finally got our new puppy Arnie, as of today he is 12 weeks old. I can't belive we have had him for that long already. He has been a great addition to our apt. He has so much energy, I wish that I could bottle it and have some myself. Everything has gone well since we have had him but he just got over taking meds for having Giardia, a virus that dogs are really suseptible to when they are puppies. We hope that he will be over it by the time that we go home for Christmas but he seems to be doing okay. When he went to the vest 2 weeks ago he weighed a hefty 1.2 pounds, ha ha. I think that he has gained more weight since then, so we will see. I am looking forward to bringing him home for Christmas, he is a riot. BUt you better hide your toes because he just might nibble them off. Ha ha.

Here is a little Halloween Fun

Arena Softball

So Kyle and I just finished our second season of arena softball. We have been playing for the last few months with people Kyle work with. We didn't start out too hot but as the season progressed we got alot better. I wouldn't say that I was that spectacular but Kyle was an All Star, ha ha. Here is a few pictures of us playing on Sunday.

Here is Kyle hitting a home run, well no, just a base hit.
